Why God Trusts You with This Season Even If You Don’t Feel Ready.

There’s a reason you’re where you are right now. Here’s what scripture teaches me about trusting God’s placement.

You didn’t land here by accident.

There have been so many moments in my life where I whispered, “God… are You sure I’m the one for this?”
I didn’t feel ready.
I didn’t feel qualified.
But here’s what I’ve learned:
When God places you in a season whether joyful, stretching, painful, or unfamiliar it’s not a punishment. It’s a trust assignment.

1. God sees what you can’t.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” — Jeremiah 1:5
He knows the strength inside you that you haven’t fully tapped into yet.
He knows the prayers you haven’t prayed yet.
He knows the people your obedience will impact.
You don’t have to see the full picture; you just have to trust the next step.

2. Your limitations are part of His plan.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
If you feel unqualified, good.
That’s exactly where God’s power shows up strongest.
He doesn’t call the perfect. He calls the willing.
The overwhelmed. The underqualified.
And then He covers the gap.

3. Delays and detours aren’t denials.

“The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me.” — Psalm 138:8
Sometimes, God slows us down because He’s building us up.
The closed door, the no, the waiting season  these are not setbacks.
They’re trust-building exercises.
Every delay is preparing you for the responsibility of what’s next.

4. You are equipped for what He’s assigned.

“He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:24
If God placed it in front of you, He will give you the strength to carry it out.
You may not feel ready, but He’s already gone ahead of you.
You’re not carrying this alone.

5. Stop asking, “Why me?” Start asking, “How, Lord?”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5
When you stop trying to figure it all out and start asking God to show you how, everything shifts.
God’s not looking for experts. He’s looking for daughters who will say:
“I don’t feel ready. But I trust You anyway.”

Encouragement for Today:

God trusted you with this season.
He knew you would feel uncertain.
And He placed you here anyway because He knows you will lean on Him, grow through it, and bless others in the process.

If this spoke to you…
Highlight the part that hit home and share this with another woman who might need it today.

A Quiet Moment With God:
Father, thank You for trusting me with this season. Strengthen my heart, calm my doubts, and remind me that I am never alone. Lead me one step at a time, and help me trust Your placement in every moment. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
