Peace Is Proof You’re Covered

Image
The storm raged loud The questions kept pressing Yet peace showed up as proof she was already covered “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” — Isaiah 26:3 She thought peace would arrive when the battle ended But God released peace right in the middle of the fight She thought covering meant a life without trouble But peace whispered she was never left unprotected The evidence of her covering wasn’t calm seas It was the calm in her spirit while the waves kept crashing That’s how she knew she wasn’t abandoned That’s how she knew the Blood had sealed her life Peace isn’t a fragile feeling you chase It’s a covenant you carry in Christ 💭 Reflection What if peace isn’t the result of a storm-free life But the sign you are sealed and sustained by Christ? 🙏 Prayer Father, I come to You in the middle of my storms. When the winds rise and the voices of fear try to drown out Your truth, I choose to rest in You. Thank You for t...

⚠️ Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing: Why Discernment Protects Your Destiny

They looked harmless They sounded holy But the Spirit revealed a wolf dressed like a sheep “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” — Matthew 7:15 She thought every soft voice was safe But the wolf spoke Scripture without Spirit She thought every gentle face carried grace But discernment exposed deception beneath the disguise The sheepfold isn’t always what it seems Not every “amen” carries agreement with God Not every “thus says the Lord” comes from His mouth Because the enemy doesn’t always roar sometimes he imitates He hides in appearance, but cannot hide from discernment And the mark of the Spirit is the only covering that cannot be faked The Reality of Wolves Paul warned the early church: “I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.” — Acts 20:29–30...

She Didn’t Survive the Season, She Was Sealed by the Blood

Image
The season pressed her low. The nights seemed endless. The warfare felt relentless. Yet she emerged not broken, but sealed by the Blood. “When I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you.” — Exodus 12:13 She expected the weight to crush her. Instead, the Blood held her firm. She thought the storm left her exposed. Instead, the Blood became her shield. She thought the fire would consume her. Instead, it confirmed what Heaven had already declared. She thought the valley would bury her. Instead, it became the place where God marked her as His own. Because survival is a human headline, but sealing is Heaven’s testimony. To survive means you made it through. To be sealed means God kept you, marked you, and claimed you in the middle of it. The enemy may have touched the season, but he could not touch the seal. The pressure was real. The tears were real. The loneliness was real. But the Blood was more real than all of it. What tried to destroy her only revea...

When the Blood Speaks Louder Than the Battle

Image
Her enemies were loud. Her fears were louder. But the Blood of Jesus was louder still. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” — Revelation 12:11 She thought the shouting of the battle would drown her peace. But Heaven had already spoken a better word. The Blood was her evidence. The Blood was her covering. The Blood was her shield. When doubt tried to rise, the Blood spoke of redemption. When shame knocked, the Blood answered with forgiveness. When fear whispered, the Blood declared victory. The war around her was noisy, but the Blood silenced the verdict. Every accusation had an answer. Every threat met a greater testimony. Every lie coming against her soul had to bow to what Jesus had already finished. Because the Blood does not merely comfort. It confirms. It reminds hell that she is not abandoned, not exposed, and not unclaimed. What tried to torment her mind could not overturn what the Blood had already secured. What tried...

He Didn’t Miss a Day Just Like the Faith That Raised Him

Image
Some men build altars before God in their living rooms. Others build them on the porch. This is what it looks like to grow old and stay faithful. He didn’t need a sanctuary to meet with God. He built one with consistency. Day after day, Bible open, voice low, prayers lifted. The weather didn’t stop him. Neither did time. Because faith this deep doesn’t waver it anchors. He remembered the ones who prayed him through and now he’s the one doing the praying. Every generation needs a man who doesn’t miss a day. Not because he’s religious, but because he’s rooted. This is not routine. This is reverence. He knows the sound of God’s voice because he’s been listening longer than some of us have been alive. And he still shows up with the same hunger. Because the altar never aged him it preserved him. This is the legacy we forget to talk about. The quiet, disciplined warriors who never needed a crowd to be consistent. Who never stopped praying even when it felt like no o...

When You’re Called But Not Yet Crowned

Image
There’s a unique kind of ache in knowing you’re chosen but still waiting. David felt it. He was anointed as king while still smelling like sheep. A prophet poured oil over his head, declaring destiny and then he went right back to the field. No crown. No throne. Just a fresh anointing and the same old assignment. Anointed, but Not Yet Appointed We love the moment of calling. The confirmation. The word from God. But what happens after the oil dries and the crown doesn’t come? David was anointed by Samuel in 1 Samuel 16. But he didn’t actually become king until 2 Samuel 5. That’s nearly   15 years   of waiting while still serving, still hiding, still being hunted by the man whose place he would take. “David behaved wisely in all his ways, and the Lord was with him.” — 1 Samuel 18:14 He was called, but not yet crowned. And yet, he didn’t force the process. He allowed the waiting to refine him, not define him. The Delay Is Not a Denial It’s Development Just because it hasn’t happe...
