I Woke Up Blessed: No Apologies
I used to downplay the good things happening in my life.
I’d shrink the praise so other people felt comfortable around my blessing.
Not anymore.
Let’s go ahead and say it loud today I’m blessed. And I’m not apologizing for it.
I’ve cried enough tears in hidden places.
I’ve pushed through enough “I don’t know how, but I know God will” moments.
And now that joy has hit my doorstep, I’m not toning it down for anybody.
Too often we dim the light of our breakthrough because someone else is still in the waiting room.
We whisper our praise reports like they might offend somebody.
But here’s the truth:
You are not responsible for shrinking your victory to make someone else comfortable in their valley.
We need bold testimonies just as much as we need raw honesty.
Both are holy.
Both point to God.
So no, I’m not bragging. I’m testifying.
I’m showing up with the evidence of answered prayers and dancing in grace I didn’t earn.
Because every single moment I was quiet about my blessing the enemy tried to convince me I didn’t deserve it.
But the cross settled that.
I’m not blessed because I was perfect. I’m blessed because God is faithful.
So today I don’t feel guilty. I feel grateful.
Grateful for the peace.
Grateful for the clarity.
Grateful for the rhythm of favor that I didn’t have to hustle to earn.
And I’m not going to whisper it. I’m going to praise Him out loud.
Because if we really believe God is good, then we need to stop acting surprised when His goodness actually shows up.
Reflection:
When was the last time you boldly celebrated what God has done without editing yourself?
This season is not a mistake. It’s a manifestation. And you have every right to stand in it fully.
Prayer:
God, thank You for trusting me with this blessing.
Remind me that it’s not prideful to praise You loudly.
I break agreement with guilt, with shame, and with the lie that I have to earn what You’ve already freely given.
You are a good Father. And I’m walking in Your goodness with no apologies.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
