Proof of Life When Everything Tried to Bury You, But You Kept Breathing

There are moments in life where the weight feels unbearable.
The kind of grief, shame, loss, or failure that doesn’t just knock the wind out of you  It makes you question if you’re even still alive inside.

The enemy tried to bury you beneath anxiety.
He tried to drown you in delay.
He tried to write the obituary for your purpose before you even got started.

But what the enemy didn’t account for… was God’s breath still in your lungs.

If You’re Still Breathing, You’re Still Building

There’s no expiration on God’s plans.
What others thought was your grave was actually the gardening of something new.
You weren’t buried. You were planted.
And even when you felt numb, Heaven was still working.

You don’t need applause to prove you’re alive.
You don’t need a platform to validate your purpose.
Your breath is proof.
The fact that you’re still here still showing up, still choosing faith is evidence that your story isn’t over.

“The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”
— Job 33:4

🔥 What Tried to Kill You Will Testify About You

There’s an anointing that only comes from survival.
Not the kind of survival that’s pretty or polished,
But the kind where you walk out with a limp and a testimony.

This season may have cost you tears, sleep, or even friends.
But you didn’t lose your life.
You gained something stronger than approval: resilience.

The things that almost destroyed you will soon be the stage God uses to display His glory.

You don’t have to explain your survival.
You embody it.

🌱 Reflection:

What did you survive that people don’t even know about?

Where have you minimized your pain instead of testifying about your deliverance?

How can you breathe again, this time on purpose?

PRAYER: God, Thank You for the Breath I Forgot I Had

Father,
I thank You for not letting me die in the pain that almost consumed me.
I thank You for breath when I couldn’t see breakthrough.
I thank You for keeping my spirit alive when my emotions were buried.

Today, I choose to breathe again on purpose.
I choose to speak life, move forward, and testify boldly.
Because You didn’t leave me in the grave.
You resurrected purpose when I thought it was over.

Let my life be living proof.
Proof that You restore.
Proof that You heal.
Proof that You still breathe on dry bones.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
