God Didn’t Forget You, He’s Just Building Something Bigger

She thought God was quiet
But He was laying the foundation
The silence wasn’t rejection, it was preparation

It’s hard when you pray and nothing happens
Harder when it seems like everyone else is getting their breakthrough and you’re just… waiting
You wonder, “Did I miss something?”
“Did God move on without me?”

But let me tell you something I had to learn the hard way
The silence of God is not the absence of God
It is often the sound of something bigger being built

You don’t build a skyscraper in a day
You dig deep first
You clear the ground
You lay foundations no one sees

And sometimes when it feels like nothing is happening, everything is happening beneath the surface

“Though it tarry, wait for it. Because it will surely come, it will not delay.” — Habakkuk 2:3

Your name didn’t get lost in the shuffle of Heaven
Your tears were not ignored
Your faith has not been wasted

He saw every time you praised Him when it hurt
He noticed when you chose worship over worry
He heard you when you whispered, “God, I trust You” even though it felt like nothing was moving

That kind of faith moves mountains
That kind of trust builds legacy
And that kind of surrender always leads to something bigger than you imagined

So no, He didn’t forget you
He is just building something that takes time
And you are worth the wait it requires

πŸ’ REFLECTION:

What if the delay is not a punishment, but a platform in progress?
Can you believe God is still writing your name into something greater?

πŸ™ PRAYER:

Father,
Thank You for seeing me even when I feel invisible
Thank You for planning more than I can understand
Today I lay down every fear, every doubt, and every timeline I created in my own strength

Teach me to trust the silence
Teach me to rest while You build
Let my faith stretch beyond what I see and anchor into what You promised

I surrender my agenda for Your architecture
I lay my blueprint at Your feet
Do what only You can do with my life
And when the time comes, let the testimony be too big for me to take the credit

Let my waiting become worship
Let my delay become destiny
And let my story bring You glory
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
