She Didn’t Know What to Say, So She Started With Praise

She opened her mouth to pray and nothing came out.
No strength. No words. Just stillness.
So she whispered the only thing she could… “Thank You.”

She didn’t feel strong.
She didn’t feel ready.
She wasn’t even sure if she was being heard.

But she still praised.

No deep theology. No eloquent intercession. No breakthrough moment.
Just quiet, halting praise in a room full of questions.

That’s where healing began.

Because praise doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. It invites God into the chaos. It says, “Even now, You’re worthy.”

Sometimes life feels dry. Prayer feels empty. And all the usual faith language falls flat. But something shifts when you stop trying to perform for God and just sit with Him.

She didn’t know how to explain the ache.
She didn’t have a clear request.
But she had a heart that still trusted God enough to say, “You’re still good.”

That is what opens the heavens.

Praise is the posture of alignment.
It doesn’t change God — it changes you.
It adjusts your heart to His timeline and silences the pressure to understand everything.

When you don’t know what to say, start with worship.
When you’re overwhelmed, start with gratitude.
When you’re dry, open your mouth anyway.

Heaven responds to praise.

💭 Reflection:

You don’t need the perfect prayer.
You don’t need the right words.

Sometimes the most powerful prayer is a whispered, “Thank You” in the middle of confusion.

Praise will carry you when nothing else can.
Start there.

🙏 Prayer

Father,
I don’t always have the words. Sometimes I come to You tired, numb, or empty. But I thank You for being near, even in my silence.
I choose to worship You before I understand. I choose to honor You before I receive.
I lay every unanswered question at Your feet and pick up praise instead.
Let my thankfulness be my weapon.
Let my surrender be my strategy.
Even when I’m weary, I will declare that You are faithful.
Fill the dry places in me with living water.
Teach me how to praise when I feel nothing.
I don’t need all the answers. I just need Your presence.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
