God Is Near

Scripture

“The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.” (Psalm 145:18, ESV)

Devotional Thought

God is not distant, silent, or unreachable. He draws near to those who seek Him sincerely. Prayer is not about perfect words but honest hearts. When we call on Him in truth, He meets us right where we are. His nearness brings comfort, clarity, and peace, even when circumstances remain unchanged.

Prayer

Father, thank You that You are near to me today. I call on You not with polished words, but with a sincere heart. You know my needs before I speak them, and You care deeply for my soul.

Draw me closer to You. Quiet the noise around me so I can recognize Your presence. Let me live today aware that I am never alone, never unseen, and never unheard. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declarations

The Lord is near to me when I call on Him.
God hears my prayers and responds in truth.
I walk today aware of God’s presence.
I am never alone.

Today’s Practice
Take one quiet moment today and simply say:
“Lord, You are near.”

If you’re ready to move from praying out of pressure to praying from peace, this next step will help you reset your atmosphere.
