A Prayer for Clarity When Every Door Looks the Same
There is a particular kind of stuck that has nothing to do with laziness or lack of effort. It is the stuck of standing in a hallway with five doors in front of you, and none of them labeled. You have prayed. You have asked for wisdom. And still, every option looks the same shade of maybe.
This is not a sign that God has gone quiet. Sometimes clarity is not withheld because you are doing something wrong. It is delayed because you are being trusted to walk in faith a little longer before the answer arrives.
"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Psalm 119:105
A Prayer for Clarity When Every Door Looks the Same
God, I am standing in front of options that all look identical to me.
I do not know which door leads where. I do not know which choice is Yours and which one is just familiar.
I am tired of guessing. I am tired of overthinking decisions that should not feel this heavy.
Give me clarity. Not eventually. Not someday. Give me a next step I can actually see.
If I am supposed to wait, help me wait without panic.
If I am supposed to move, help me move without fear of choosing wrong.
You are not the author of confusion. So I trust that even in this fog, You already know the way through.
Order my steps. Quiet my mind. Light up whatever I need to see today, even if it is only the very next one.
